Muslim University of Morogoro, commonly known by the acronym MUM, is one of the recognized universities in Tanzania. This institution plays an important role in higher education by offering academic and professional training to students from Tanzania and beyond.
University Background
The Muslim University of Morogoro was established on October 23, 2004 by a charter issued by the Muslim Development Foundation (MDF), the University’s proprietors. The studies began in 2005/2006. LOCATION The University is located north of the majestic Uluguru Mountains, approximately 4 kilometers from the center of Morogoro Municipality, around 300 meters off the Morogoro-Dodoma highway, and approximately ten minutes walk from the main bus terminal at Msamvu. The campus, which is enclosed by a wall and set in magnificent grounds, is around 18 hectares in size.
